Dry Fruits
A dry fruit is not a commodity. It is an agricultural product that either holds its moisture, oil, and aroma through handling or loses everything that makes it worth buying. The difference between a cashew that cracks clean between your teeth and one that crumbles into chalk comes down to how it was cured, graded, and stored from the moment it left the tree.
Harvestia sources dry fruits from the origin regions that define each product. Cashews from the west coast belt of Goa, Maharashtra, and Kerala where the climate favours the classic cream-coloured kernel. Almonds, walnuts, and raisins from California, Kashmir, and Afghanistan depending on what the specification needs. Every lot is tested for moisture, broken kernel percentage, and aflatoxin before it enters our warehouse, and every shipment carries a Certificate of Analysis as standard.
This is how dry fruits should be sourced. Graded honestly, tested on every batch, and documented from the farm or processing unit to the carton it arrived in.
